When does the searing happen - Guild Wars Forums

Hi. Firstly i apoligise if there is already a thread like this. Does anyone no what missions to AVOID so that i DONT go into post searing. I have already looked in the wiki and done multiple google searches and found nothing.

the academy mission from armin saberlin is the one i believe

Just don't talk to Sir Tydus after accepting this quest reward and you will remain in pre searing for as long as your heart desires.

there are no missions in pre ;-)

The Quest you do NOT want to do is called "The Path to Glory"

If you read the dialogue before agreeing to it, it gives you warning, in red I believe, that you will be leaving behind everything you know, etc. Just don't click "I am ready" and you won't sear.

Just so you realise that staying in post searing is a dead end apart from the title and farming.

Possibly worth doing with one character while taking others through to see the rest of the game world.

I leave at least one character per account there just to get the daily "Gift of the Huntsman".
